Return & Refund Policy — Peptides Ireland

1. Overview

This policy applies to all purchases made on peptidesireland.ie. All products sold by Peptides Ireland are research-grade peptides intended strictly for laboratory and scientific research purposes. Due to the nature of these products, our return and refund policy reflects both EU consumer law obligations and the specific requirements of research-grade chemical handling.

2. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer under EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.

This right does not apply to:

  • Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection (peptides) or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery
  • Goods that may deteriorate or expire rapidly
  • Goods purchased for research only use, with the intention of being used for Human use.

4. Defective or Incorrectly Supplied Products

We accept returns only in the following circumstances:

  • The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • The product supplied is incorrect (wrong item, wrong quantity)

To make a claim:

  1. Contact us at peptimedsales@protonmail.com within 7 days of delivery
  2. Include your order number and a clear description of the issue
  3. Attach photographic evidence of the defect or incorrect item

We will assess your claim and, at our discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement of the product
  • Store credit
  • Full or partial refund

5. Products Not Eligible for Return

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened or unsealed products
  • Products that have been used, altered, or contaminated
  • Products returned without prior authorisation
  • Products purchased in error where the correct product information was clearly displayed at the time of purchase

6. Return Process

All returns must be pre-authorised by contacting us before sending any goods back. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted and may be returned to sender at their cost.

Approved returns must be:

  • Sent in original, undamaged packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase
  • Shipped using a tracked service — we are not responsible for items lost in transit

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

7. Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please:

  • Refuse delivery where possible, or note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery
  • Contact us within 48 hours with photographic evidence

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
